A short list of free utilities — some built here, some built by other people doing good work in wireless and IT. No sign-ups, no gates.

Templatizer

A simple template variable replacement tool. Paste in text with placeholders like <variable>, set your delimiters, fill in the values, and get clean output back — no more hand-editing the same config template or report boilerplate for the tenth time.

Block List Optimizer

Paste or upload an IP blocklist to analyze, consolidate, and optimize it with registry, routing and country data. Accepts IPs, CIDR, ranges, subnet masks, and P2P/DAT lists; enriches entries with WHOIS and reverse-DNS lookups to flag residential, hosting, and scanner hosts, and switches to a lighter big-file mode automatically past 100,000 entries.

Arista EVI Builder

Generates switch configurations for Arista EOS devices — VLANs tied to EVIs (EVPN Ethernet VPN Instances) across multiple switches. Takes a BGP AS number, a VLAN range and naming scheme, a starting EVI number, trunk interfaces, and per-switch loopback IPs, and outputs standardized config instead of hand-building it per device.

CSV to Fortigate Config

Upload a CSV with name, IP address, and an optional colour to generate FortiGate address object configurations instantly — bulk-builds the address objects instead of entering each one by hand in the GUI.

Wi-Fi MCS Index

Interactive MCS index table covering every 802.11n, 802.11ac, 802.11ax and 802.11be data rate, computed straight from the PHY formula — filterable by standard, spatial streams, channel width, guard interval and MCS index, with CSV/PDF export. Worth the reminder built into the tool itself: these are PHY rates, not throughput.
